  • Spirits.

    Understanding what you’re working with is key when it comes to serving great drinks. The course has an extensive syllabus point on spirit study, focusing on all the unique spirits you would expect to find on a back bar. Students will gain an understanding on the production of each spirit as well as the individual characteristics of each spirit.

  • Cocktails.

    Cocktail theory and the families of cocktails will be taught to students before they demonstrate the ability to make a number of classics. Learn how to categorise cocktails and apply templates to other cocktail types. Understand how different specifications and measurements translate across a number of different cocktails.

  • Mixology.

    Applying the knowledge of spirits and cocktails to be able to present the perfect drink. This focus on mixology is all about the behind the scenes topics that separates a great cocktail from a mediocre cocktail. Technique, accuracy and science, along with advanced tools and ideas bring the world of mixology together. Uncover all the right habits to take with you to the bar to ensure the best possible service!

  • Training.

    All training takes place in person and face to face. A split of both theory and practical training will commence over approximately 6 hours worth of syllabus material. The course can be done in 1× 6 hour course or split into 2× 3 hour courses. A number of resources and textbooks will accompany the training and can also be purchased by the students.
